Einkorn

Graham Cakes

Yields one 8x4 loaf


Ingredients  

3 Cups of einkorn flour

1/2 Cup of cane sugar

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp baking salt  

1 1/3 Cup buttermilk

1/3 Cup coconut oil

Directions  

Menno’s directions were simple and there’s no need for complication.

  • stir all ingredients together and bake at 350 for 20 minutes

  • we used a pyrex casserole dish, lightly greased with butter. you could even use these ratios to bake layers for a really delicious cake with icing of your choice.
